Family Tree DNA Offers Reduced Price Family Finder Tests

Check your inbox! Family Tree DNA just sent out an email to their customers offering the autosomal DNA Family Finder test for only $179 (regularly $289). A one-time use code is necessary. If you are a customer and did not receive one, check your spam filter. I have a few extras, so write to me if you need one. (Update 6/8/12 - Thanks to many kind donors, I have lots of codes now! Since I am at Jamboree, please see the comments for available codes.)

Since that day some 10's of thousands of individuals have tested seeking answers to their genealogical questions. Children have found parents and half-siblings have randomly ‘found’ each other within the database. Family Tree DNA is proud to have played a part in those wonderful reunions. In an effort to thank each of you for your participation (which makes these matches possible), we are offering a one-time use coupon for you to share with any individual that you believe would like to order the Family Finder at $179. Simply copy and share the coupon code.

      I have been a Family Tree DNA customer for years and I did not get this offer at all. I only just got this information and it is expired. What can I do to appeal the expiration date based on their not sending me the offer?

    Hi CeCe, I just emailed you my voucher. I am so glad that someone will be able to use it. If anyone has an AncestryDNA $99 invite they don't want, I would love to have it (I think they are transferable?). I am on the waiting list and it is taking forever. :)

    Is there a way to verify if a code has been used? I mean, other than in the order process?

    I used the last sequence of the first batch above to make sure I got a code. Wasn't totally confident that posting of used codes was occurring. Waiting to hear from my cousin to see if 9620 went through.

    There is an outside chance I might need one more beyond that one. Still waiting to hear back. Cutting it close to the wire on this last one...

      Not that I know of. I'm trying to do this the most efficient way since I am at Jamboree this weekend. Trevor said that the first five were all used, so try one of the bottom six from the next batch I posted. I also sent you one privately just in case.
